KALBI (Korean BBQ Short Ribs)
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp. fish sauce
4 cloves of garlic, crushed
2 green onions, chopped
2 tbsp. Agave syrup
2 tbsp. Sesame Oil
1 kg flanken cut beef ribs
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix, cover, and marinate 4hrs - o/nite in fridge.
Grill ribs over high heat, turning frequently till done, cut up pieces, top with toasted sesame seeds. Serve with nước chấm.
Nước Chấm
1/4 cup fish sauceCombine all ingredients into a bowl. Stir. Dip.
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 chili (phrik kii noo [bird's eye chili] / habanero), chopped
1/3 cup water
1 lime
1 tsp rice vinegar
1/2 tbsp Agave syrup
after dinner cocktail.
2oz VodkaFill a shaker glass with ice. add all spirits, top with ginger beer.
1oz Cynar
2 dash Regan's Orange Bitters #6
1 dash Angostura bitters
Ginger Beer
Orange peel
Stir, and strain into tumbler, garnish with a twist of orange.
